Columbia man in two-car crash

police_lights-500wideThe Life Star medical evacuation helicopter flew one of two drivers to a local hospital after they crashed  near Town Hall in the early hours of Thursday.

Natalie O’Neill, of East Hampton, was flown to St. Francis Hospital after being removed from her car with the “jaws of life.”

As of Thursday, she was listed in stable condition.

The driver of the second car was identified as David Bedini of Columbia. He was taken to the Marlborough Medical Center.

Sgt. Garritt A. Kelly said the accident on Route 66 occurred shortly after 12:15 a.m.
